“I Will” - Brett Connellan

This is a quick one, and it’s purely personal.

If you’ve been paying attention, you’ll notice I’ve been absent for the past few weeks and I want to write about that in a few days but this Musings is a symbol to get me back on track. So the first point is that “I Will” be back and posting weekly again.

But the real meaning of this quote comes from today being the first day with my new notebook. Those who know me know my notebook comes almost everywhere with me. It’s not only somewhere to write notes of everthing I’m doing or talking about but it’s also where I write all of my gratitude and daily lessons so it’s fair to say it’s something pretty constant in my life. My notebooks generally last about 4 months so it always feels like a small change of scenery when I finish one and start another.

I took a moment today to write something motivational to myself inside the front cover which you’ll now be able to tell was “I Will”. It’s a reminder to stick to what’s been serving me so well for a long time, as well as and aid to help me reflect on what I want to achieve moving forwards. There’s a lot that I want to do and I most certainly will be committed to doing everything I can to make it all a reality.
